Requirements
- macOS 11 or later
- Windows 10 or later
- Developer Mode (iOS 16+)
On your iDevice, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Developer Mode. Enable it.
MacOS Preparation
- Download AltServer from https://cdn.altstore.io/file/altstore/altserver.zip (macOS 11+)
If you are on macOS 10.14 or 10.15, download AltServer 1.6.2 from https://f000.backblazeb2.com/file/altstore/altserver/1_6_2.zip
- Open the ZIP. Drag AltServer from Desktop into Applications.
- Go to Applications and open AltServer. Click Open.
- Click the AltServer icon that appeared in the topbar. Afterwards, hover over "Install AltStore" and click your iDevice.
If it does not appear, make sure your phone is unlocked and trusted by your computer. You may need to disconnect and reconnect your iDevice.
- Enter your Apple ID (Email) and Password, then Enter.
Windows Preparation
- Install iTunes and iCloud using the following links:
iTunes: Windows 64-bit: https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/win64
iTunes: Windows 32-bit: https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/win32
iCloud: https://updates.cdn-apple.com/2020/windows/001-39935-20200911-1A70AA56-F448-11EA-8CC0-99D41950005E/iCloudSetup.exe
- Download AltServer from https://cdn.altstore.io/file/altstore/altinstaller.zip
- Extract AltInstaller.zip and run Setup.exe.
- Search for "AltServer" in Windows' search bar and click "Run as administrator." Make sure to allow access to private networks if prompted. AltStore will appear as an icon in the taskbar.
- Click the AltServer icon that appeared in the taskbar. Afterwards, go to "Install AltStore" and click your iDevice.
If it does not appear, make sure your phone is unlocked and trusted by your computer. You may need to disconnect and reconnect your iDevice.
- Enter your Apple ID (Email) and Password, then Enter.
Using AltStore
- AltStore should have appeared on your iDevice. However, you might need to trust it first. Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. Trust your Apple ID, then tap Trust again to confirm.
- Open AltStore. If you are prompted to allow AltStore to find devices on local networks, click Allow. If you want, you can enable notifications.
- Go to the Settings section and click Login. Enter your Apple ID (Email) and Password, the same one you used before to get AltStore on your iDevice.
- Go to the My Apps section. Click the "7 DAYS" counter next to SideStore.
7 represents the number of days until an app's expiry. It will update dynamically to show the number of days left. Tapping it refreshes the app.
- Download the Delta IPA from https://deltaexploits.gg.
Due to a Delta update, you will need to sign the IPA with any certificate before continuing. You can use IPASignX to do this (read my tutorial about it).
However, instead of clicking "Install Now", click "Download IPA". Afterwards, do the following:
- Go to Files and find the signed IPA (Browse > Downloads). Hold it, then tap Rename.
- Add ".zip" after .ipa (e.g. NAME.ipa > NAME.ipa.zip). Tap "done", then tap "Use .zip".
- Tap the file again, and hold the Payload folder once it is created.
- Tap Compress, then hold Payload.zip once it gets created.
- Tap Rename, then rename the file to Payload.ipa. Tap "done", then tap "Use .ipa".
- Go back to AltStore. Click on the + icon, then import the Delta IPA. Keep App Extensions. Then wait... it may take a while to finish importing.
- Check your Home Screen; you now have Delta!
NOTES:
You must make sure AltStore is connected to AltServer in order to sideload, refresh, activate, and deactivate apps. This is why SideStore is recommended as you only need to use a computer once (except in certain situations).
